West Ham United have signed Greece international Konstantinos Mavropanos in the English Premier League.
Mavropanos previously played for VfB Stuttgart in the German Bundesliga. He also had a stint with Arsenal in the English Premier League.
What Konstantinos Mavropanos said
“I am really happy and excited to be here – and to be back in the Premier League with West Ham United,” said Mavropanos.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining the club – and I am really looking forward to the next step in my career. I can promise the fans I will give everything for them and the shirt.”
What West Ham United manager David Moyes said about Mavropanos
West Ham United are the reigning UEFA Conference League champions – and currently occupy seventh position in the 2023-24 English Premier League standings. They will meet Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
“I’m pleased to welcome Konstantinos to West Ham United,” added manager David Moyes.
“We’ve been looking to add to our centre-half options this summer, so it’s good we’ve been able to bring in an international defender of his ability.
“We’re really looking forward to integrating him into the group.”
West Ham United lost midfielder Declan Rice to Arsenal earlier this year.
