Paris Saint-Germain have signed winger Ousmane Dembele ahead of the 2023-24 French Ligue 1.
Dembele has joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in the Spanish LaLiga.
What Ousmane Dembele said
“I’m delighted to be joining Paris Saint-Germain and can’t wait to play for my new club,” Dembele.
“I hope I can continue to grow here and make all the club’s fans proud.”
Paris Saint-Germain will be without Argentina star Lionel Messi this season. Messi has exited PSG after two seasons to join Inter Miami in Major League Soccer in the United States of America.
What PSG said about Dembele
Dembele will play alongside fellow French international Kylian Mbappe at PSG. Dembele and Mbappe won the Football World Cup with France in 2018.
“We are delighted to welcome Ousmane Dembele to Paris Saint-Germain where he will be an important and committed player for our club,” added said Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
“The passion and determination shown by Ousmane as he has signed for PSG is fantastic and perfectly corresponds to the attitude required of all of our players. We are proud to be able to bring another French World Cup winner to Paris Saint-Germain as we enter a new great era for our club.”
